About
I’m Ankita Kokkera, a Master’s student in Business Analytics at Imperial College London, with a software engineer’s mindset, a strategist’s curiosity, and a data scientist’s toolbox.
Before diving into analytics and strategy, I spent two years at Barclays building resilient systems using service virtualization and API automation to improve performance and team efficiency.
Now, I’m focused on the bigger picture — where data, models, and storytelling meet to drive real business impact. I’ve published research on AI for mental health diagnostics, built NLP tools to streamline workflows, and led projects that bridge technical skill with human-centered design.
Outside work, I’ve worn many hats — leader, mentor, athlete, builder. I’m the kind of person who codes dashboards for fun, trains AI models to optimize my reading list, and still finds time to bake or rewatch my favorite films (for the analytics, of course).
Led service virtualization for critical financial APIs, automating testing and improving system reliability. Built real-time API health dashboards, simulated failover scenarios, and collaborated cross-functionally to modernize legacy frameworks and align systems with compliance standards.
